What a fantastic Song right? A Classic, yes, but I’m talking about these eyeglass cases. I just can’t stop making them. Here are a few more with links to my etsy shop. Loving sewing again! This just might be my favorite one. The combination of my hand dyed terra cotta sateen, Japanese woven fabric and the gold blanket stitch make me so happy! Lined with my hand dyed indigo and embellished with beads that my dear Annie Hunter gave me years ago in Brooklyn when we were whiches. The matching of the blanket stitches just happened, I didn’t even notice they met up perfectly until the piece was done. For sale here.
Yep loving this one too.Stitched up the side and more beads from Annie. I only have six of those. Limited edition. Love working with the woven cottons from Japan. And this is one of my favorite hand dyes from last summer. For sale here.
Gold stitching on this one with threads from LC’s Cottage. Laura, I told you I would get around to using those beautiful threads! Old button from my collection. Dyed indigo sateen inside. Nice and soft for your glasses. For sale here.
Here is the first one I ever made. A little crunchy but I hope the pretty vintage button makes up for it! For sale here.
Thanks for coming by! Have a wonderful, creative evening!
